In 1994, SBS decided to certify the company's own quality management system (QMS) with ISO 9001. Previously, SBS was one of just a few other certified companies, whereas today an ISO 9001 certificate is a standard qualification for every company.

Our customers benefit from the constant improvements of our quality management system. They trust the quality of SBS products year after year and we are thankful for that. As a part of a grand ceremony in Vienna, SBS was given the award "20 years ISO 9001 certified from Quality Austria".

Again in 2021, Quality Austria audited the quality management system of SBS and all its subsidiaries (SBS QMS). The QMS of SBS Austria, SBS Germany and SBS Switzerland fulfils the requirements and is still certified by Quality Austria according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
